Running Accomplishments:

I just ran the Crazy Legs Trail 10K+ in 53:00. And I'm up to 18 miles on my long weekend run.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Build mileage up over 30 per week, and then work on speed without getting injured. Would like to skip over the road marathon and maybe try an ultra or a trail marathon first. Also want to run a 5 minute mile.

This is a trail 10k. Over a lot of loose rock and uneven ground. Was in 2nd place through the first half of the race, and then got overtaken. I hadn't been training for a race (had been working on , and signed up at the last minute when they had a cancellation. They only allow 60 runners. I had been building up endurance and had just run 18.5 miles on the same trail system the week before. I could have run much faster if I had been at a point in training where I was adding speed work back in.
